G5 Geoconsulting Limited (G5) is a young independent company built from decades of offshore and nearshore project experience. Our team has been involved in offshore renewables for almost 20 years and the broader offshore energy sector for over 30 years.

  Our team of highly experienced consultants, supported by a trusted network of project partners and associates, specialise in the management and integration of geoscience data (Geology, Geophysics, Geotechnics, Geomorphology and Geomatics) to provide a thorough understanding of the seabed and sub-seabed conditions that allow our clients to make informed decisions throughout project design, construction and operation.  

We work closely with our clients to understand their challenges and develop solutions that are tailored to their unique needs. 

G5 provides geoscience advice and expertise to Operators and Developers delivering marine infrastructure, offshore energy and subsea power transmission projects.    

We undertake desk top studies including site and route assessments, geohazard and constraints mapping, site characterization strategies, site survey support (survey procurement, survey scopes and specifications), survey supervision (onshore management and offshore client representation), data QA/QC, data interpretation and integration, reporting, geo-risk management, cable route engineering, ground model development and GIS support.
